The Global Fund is looking for an exceptional strategic thinker, people leader and operational manager with a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving global health arena. The role requires an exceptional ability to translate strategic and technical insight into operational impact. The successful candidate will ensure the Global Fund’s investments are informed by the best available technical advice and implementation support, drawing on experts in the division and leveraging the technical expertise of a wide range of partners. The new Head of SIID will inherit a division comprising four departments – Technical Advice & Partnerships; Communities, Rights and Gender; Health Finance; Access to Funding – and approximately 200 staff.

▪Over 15 years of experience at implementing country and international level in public health or strategy with incountry experience.

▪ Experience managing large and complex teams with the mandate to effectively provide support to other equally complex teams.

▪ Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the Global Fund and its partnership model, governance, policies and processes.

▪ Strong negotiation and people management skills with experience in policies, leading policy negotiation discussions on both political and highly technical topics, ideally at an international level.
