Position Objective
The HRBP and Wellness Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing a portfolio of HR initiatives that promote staff wellbeing and encourage healthier lifestyle choices at the workplace. S/he will work closely to the other HR Business Partners (HRBP) to ensure that the wellness program is being implemented and in alignment to the needs of the Fund, the staff members and their families living in Korea. As an HRBP, s/he will invest her/his holistic knowledge of Human Resource Management (HRM) to guide leadership, management and staff and provide them with sound, tailored, and coherent HR solutions consistent with the GCF’s HR legal framework. The HRBP act as a change agent, focus on employee championing and relationship management with their internal clients. Within the areas of responsibility, the HRBP exercises a high degree of independence and perform a large range of HR work independently.
Duties and responsibilities
Purpose
• Lead the development of GCF’s wellness program and its constant adaptation to the needs of the Fund and its people, the living conditions in the HQ country and in alignment with international best practices.
• Identify opportunities of improvement to the programs on staff benefits related to staff wellbeing, health, employee assistance, work life balance, retirement plans etc. offered to the GCF’s workforce based on data and relevant market trends.
Engagement
• Advocate internally to persuade and educate GCF’s staff to adopt GCF’s corporate values and principles and healthier and sustainable lifestyles.
• Collaborate with management and other HRBPs to map and address particular workplace environment, diversity and inclusion, health (mental or physical) issues that can challenge an individual or a team’s morale and productivity.
• Enhance relationships with similar organizations to exchange information, understand their HR practices and take advantage of the lessons learnt. Attend HR networking events — both within the IO system and the private sector.
Delivery
• Provide seasoned advice and guidance on a range of HR regulations, rules and procedures to managers, supervisors and staff, proactively building a mutual. understanding of policies, regulations and roles in the management of GCF's talent.
• Optimize systems and procedures in HR key areas to evolve and maintain responsiveness of services to evolving client needs.
• Build a network of specialists and vendors that can provide services needed by the staff and/or their families.
• Deliver high-quality services according to standing applicable rules, in an equitable and transparent manner in order to provide an outstanding employee experience.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential for this position; knowledge of another UN language an advantage.
- 技術資格
Bachelor's degree in Psychology with Master’s degree or higher in HR, Business/Public Administration or alternative relevant fields; or relevant Bachelor’s degree with 2 additional years of experience.
- その他必要な業務経験・能力
• At least nine (9) years of relevant work experience in Human Resources Management (HRM) and managing up to date benefits and wellness programs; previous experience in an HR Business Partners model is an asset; previous experience in a similar role in an international/global organization is also desirable.
• Certifications such as corporate wellness specialist or worksite wellness specialist are a plus.
• Outstanding listening skills, motivational skills and empathy.
• Be well organized, able to multitask and willing to collaborate with people of all backgrounds. S/he should be able to problem-solve and offer effective and flexible solutions.
