業務内容

Objectives
• Ensure fundraising net income to support MSF activities in line with the MSF principle and strategy.
• Maximize the LTV(Life Time Value) of our supporters, enhance donor satisfaction and engagement through designing the excellent donor experience.
• Expand our supporter base through promoting understanding of humanitarian medical issues and MSF activities within the Japanese society. 
• Lead shaping strategies for mass market, own yearly plan of actions (POA) to ensure the implementation.
• Ensure collaboration, alignment and the flow of information with other teams and departments.
• Lead, coach, support and develop the team of professional fundraisers.
• Contribute to shape the strategy, ways of working in MSF Japan and the movement.
 


Main Tasks and responsibilities 
Plan
• Shape marketing strategies, plan of actions and budget for Japanese mass market of existing donor retention and cultivation (Loyalty)
• Lead single and multi-year donation incomes, and costs for the team responsible for the Loyalty/Mid value (new position)/Digital (new position)/Donor success communications (new position) channel and achieve the targets.
• Promote review of existing measures and introduction of new measures to increase engagement and activation of existing donors.
• Provide actionable insights to shape the fundraising department strategies.

 

Implementation
• Ensure development of donor loyalty programs to efficiently maximize the number of active donors and reactive donors.
• Supervise an implementation schedule for each offline and online fundraising campaign.
 

Monitor, Analyse & Improve
• Monitor and analyze the Fundraising Key Performance Indicators, launch contingency plans whenever necessary.
• Oversee effectiveness of marketing activities by tracking and analyzing the results and make recommendations.

 

People/team development
• Lead and support the team to ensure the full implementation of action plans.
• Place the right person in the right tasks, make adjustment when relevant. Motivate, support and lead the team for the development of individual/team capacity.

 

Contribution for MSF Japan and the movement
• Lead and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the superior donor experience.
• Ensure alignment among departments and teams to generate synergies, economy of scale/scope.

Essential
• Minimum 5 years direct relevant work experience both online and off-line.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multi-functional diverse areas.
• Minimum 5 year experience of people management or equivalent including leading projects/taskforces
• Excellent project management skills and proven track record of running projects across teams.
• Excellent planning skills with a proven ability to carry out different tasks simultaneously and priorities time and resources accordingly.
• Creative, innovative and analytical skills with the ability to think logically and comprehensively in order to identify and respond quickly to new opportunities.
• Ability to provide input and output to the marketing plan from a customer-centric perspective.
• Good interpersonal and negotiating skills with an ability to build relationships with supporters and external suppliers.
• Aspiration on Humanitarian aid and motivation on social innovation.
• Fluent Japanese and business level English.


Desirable Skills and Experience
• Good command of technologies including CRM/MA/BI tools.
• Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Good understanding of MSF field programs and principles of action.

・Salary is determined based on job grade.
・Flexible working hours with a standard working day of 8 hours
・Full social insurance
・Commuting allowance, work from home allowance, and child allowance (in accordance with the organization's regulations)
・Two full days off per week. In addition to annual paid vacations(24 days/year), year-end and New Year vacations and congratulation or condolence leave are available.
・Salary includes 20 hours of fixed late-night work allowance

・Probation period: 6 months
・Others: No smoking indoors in principle (smoking rooms are available)

・Retirement age 60 (with reemployment system)

・1日の標準労働時間を8時間とするフレックスタイム制
・社会保険完備
・通勤手当、在宅勤務手当、子ども手当支給(当団体規定による)
・完全週休2日制。24日/年の年次有給休暇の他に、年末年始・慶弔休暇あり
・給与には20時間分の深夜勤務手当を含む
