<About US>

TELL is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the best, most effective support and counseling services to the international community in Japan, specifically to address the country’s growing (and, in many cases, unmet) mental healthcare needs.

Joining TELL offers a rare opportunity to apply your skills and experiences to an organization that makes a tangible difference in people's lives every day.

<The Role>

The Finance & Business Office Manager is responsible for leading all finance, accounting, and certain administrative functions, including compliance, external vendor management, and procurement. The role ensures strong financial governance, compliance and operational efficiency is maintained to ensure support for TELL’s business operations. In addition to financial reporting responsibilities, the role also comprises forecasting and commercial performance analysis to support TELL’s strategic priorities.

This position is the senior leadership position within TELL reporting to TELL’s Executive Director, and would suit a candidate who shares TELL’s vision of building a vibrant, sustainable organization; fostering the growth and development of all staff and stakeholders; embracing diversity with compassion and respect; and engaging with external organizations to bring value and talent to TELL.

The Finance & Business Office Manager works closely with TELL’s Executive Director, Board, and the Lifeline, Clinic, and Outreach business pillar leads. As a senior leader, you will have the opportunity to shape both the strategic direction and operational excellence of one of Japan's most respected mental health organizations serving the international community.
