The Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD) supports the Development Assistance Committee (DAC)to carry out its mandate to help increase financing for development and to improve the quality and effectiveness of development co‑operation. Through inclusive partnerships for development, the DAC helps ensure better lives for people in the developing world by improving development policy, strengthening development finance, improving the delivery of development co-operation and building stronger partnerships for development.
 
The Crises and Fragility team is now looking for an experienced and dynamic Policy Analyst to support the INCAF network’s work plan, both at a policy level and in supporting implementation in fragile contexts, particularly francophone countries. The successful candidate will provide high quality and timely support to members and directors of INCAF, with a focus on supporting INCAF’s Task Team and its co-chairs. 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader of the Crises and Fragility team, under the overall guidance of the Head of Division..

An advanced university degree in political science, international relations, development or other relevant discipline.

For this role, the following competencies are of particular importance: Analytical Thinking, Flexible Thinking, Drafting Skills, Strategic Networking,  Influencing, Negotiating.

Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at either EUR 5,829 or EUR 7,192, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
