The Economics Department of the OECD currently employs approximately 170 staff members who support work across a broad range of economic policy areas to ensure impact of the OECD economic policy work in the international governance architecture working to advance the Strategic Orientations of the Secretary-General in coordination with the OECD Sherpa team. The Economics Department is looking for senior professionals to lead highly qualified teams. They will be expected to contribute to the Organisation’s major initiatives, including the G20, fostering collaboration between the Economics Department, other OECD Directorates through horizontal strategies and advancing the agenda with Key Partners and accession countries. As key members of the management team of Economics Department, the selected persons will work under the supervision of the Chief Economist and the Directors and Deputy Directors to support, advance and provide strategic direction to the Department’s work. They will work closely with the Office of the Secretary General (OSG) and the rest of the Organisation in the development and implementation of horizontal initiatives, and on strategies to advance implementation of OECD advice in Member and partner countries.

What the OECD offers

Depending on the level of experience, monthly salary starts at 10 291€ plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax.
